2026 PGY1 Community Pharmacy Resident
Background: A community pharmacy residency is a twelve-month practice-based certificate program that provides the opportunity for accelerated professional growth beyond entry-level professional competence in patient-centered care, pharmacy operations, and leadership. This position exemplifies the mission of the Albertsons Pharmacies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.PGY1 Purpose: PGY1 residency programs build upon Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and outcomes to develop pharmacist practitioners with knowledge, skills, and abilities as defined in the educational competency areas, goals, and objectives.
