Housekeeper
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and inviting. Experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning
Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and conference rooms
Handle waste disposal and ensure proper disposal of linens and trash
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly desirable
Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing
Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is a plus
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and properly
Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning assignments and environments
This position requires a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards while ensuring guest satisfaction through professional service.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
