Founded in 2009, we make apparel for women and men — plus bedding and bath — from organic cotton grown and sewn in Fair Trade Certified factories. Bras, underwear, and sleepwear sit at the center of what we do, and we're looking for a Technical Developer who can bring the same care for fit, comfort, and construction to our bra category, while also supporting adjacent categories.About the RoleAs Technical Developer, Intimates, you'll own bra development end to end — from first concept through fit approval to bulk production — bringing deep, hands-on expertise in bra construction, patternmaking, and grading to every style you touch. You'll partner closely with design, sourcing, and merchandising to translate concepts into technical packages, manage fittings and fit comments, troubleshoot construction and component issues with our factories, and ensure every style hits the calendar on time and to spec.Bras are the core of this role, but not the whole of it: you'll also flex into the rest of our next-to-skin assortment — think underwear, loungewear, and other body-adjacent categories.What You'll Do• Own tech packs, specs, and construction details for bras, from first sample through bulk production, including cup construction, banding, elastics, hardware, and trims.• Partner with design to translate sketches and fit intent into production-ready specs and patterns.• Manage fit sessions, evaluate fit comments, and issue clear, actionable revisions to factories.• Organize and incorporate wear-test feedback from development samples into spec and construction revisions.• Develop and maintain specs for assigned styles, balancing priorities across categories each season.• Work directly with overseas factories and mills on construction feasibility and timelines.• Track development calendars for each category and flag risks to on-time delivery early.• Partner with design and merch teams to troubleshoot fit, construction, or quality issues during development.• Stay current on bra construction techniques, materials, and hardware innovations, and bring recommendations back to the team.• Maintain organized, accurate style and spec records across PLM and other systems.What You'll Bring• 5+ years of experience in technical design or apparel product development, including at least 3 years in the intimates category.• Direct, hands-on experience developing bras (band and cup construction, wire and wire-free, molding, seamless, elastics, and hardware).• Working knowledge of underwear and/or sleepwear construction.• Comfort reading and writing detailed tech packs and specs.• Experience running fit sessions and organizing wear-test feedback into actionable revisions.• Direct experience working with overseas factories and vendors.• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines across categories at once.• Clear, direct communication style, both with internal teams and factory partners.• Proficiency with PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator, and Excel.Why Pact• Work on product that's genuinely better for the people who wear it and the planet it's made on.• A small, hands-on team where your work has direct, visible impact on what ships.Compensation· Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year; bonus opportunity up to 10% of salary*· 401k with Employer match· Comprehensive health benefits, partially company sponsored· Additional benefits details available upon request*This is a good-faith estimate of the salary range; final compensation will becommensurate with experience.Apply here: https://forms.gle/qskY4tYarF5Hdg3E6
