We're seeking aPart-Time Senior Accounting Associateto join our 100% remote team and take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of small business clients. This role is perfect for a seasoned accounting professional looking for flexible hours, meaningful client work, and a remote team culture built on support, collaboration, and autonomy.What You'll DoOwn full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients inQuickBooks Online(and some Desktop)Review financial statements prepared by junior staff; provideover_look, corrections, and mentorshipReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, Amazon, Shopify, and merchant processorsPerform monthly closes and deliver clean, tax-ready financialsHandle light accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payrollin QBO or third-party platformsMaintain vendor records and ensure1099/W-9 compliancePrepare and file sales tax returnsComplete catch-up and cleanup projectsfor prior yearsBuildtax workpapersand review balance sheet accounts for accuracyCommunicate with clients viaemail and videowith professionalism and clarityTrack time daily and manage tasks efficiently and within budgetMentor junior team members and contribute to team-wide successProvide feedback on internal processes and collaborate on improvementsWho You Are You're experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented. You know how to juggle multiple clients and still deliver stellar work.
