Join us and play an important part on our incredible team!What you get to do:Utilize electronic knowledge and troubleshooting skills as related to all ridesBe a team leader, setting good examples for team members in the promotion of good work performance, following guidelines of company and promoting good safety practicesPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all ridesOrganize and plan daily workload of team; supervise all work performance of techniciansKeep working areas neat, clean, and tidyPerform other miscellaneous duties as requiredWhat it takes to succeed:Have high school diploma or equivalentHave at least two years of rides or mechanical experienceHave a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s licenseHave working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applicationsBe able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environmentHave excellent written and verbal communication skills regarding technical knowledgePossess knowledge and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic cylindersBe able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistanceBe able to stand for an entire shiftBe comfortable working at heights up to 385ftBe able to walk uphill and work on a 35-40 degree slopeBe able to repetitively climb stairsBe able to climb and work off of laddersBe comfortable working in and around waterMeet all ride requirements and be comfortable test-riding all ridesBe available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shiftsCertified in park rides green tag procedures and competency testedCross-trained in other maintenance fieldsThe perks of the position:Paid Time OffComplimentary Park Tickets and PassesPark Discounts on Food and MerchandiseMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K Retirement planVoluntary InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability BenefitsTuition ReimbursementDependent and Health Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramLegal Assistance PlanEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
