Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all of the company's safety procedures.Position OverviewThe Civil Foreman is responsible for leading and directing field crews on civil construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications. This role serves as the frontline leader on the jobsite—coordinating daily activities, managing crews and equipment, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise field crews in daily civil construction operationsPlan and coordinate daily work activities in alignment with project schedules and superintendent directionEnsure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and site-specific safety standardsConduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks) and promote a strong safety cultureRead and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide field executionCoordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to meet production goalsMonitor productivity and crew performance; adjust resources as neededMaintain accurate daily reports, including labor, equipment, and production trackingEnsure quality control standards are met and minimize reworkCommunicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and other trades on-siteIdentify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on trackTrain, mentor, and develop crew membersQualifications5+ years of experience in civil construction, with leadership or foreman experience preferredRequired experience working in petrochemical or refinery environmentsStrong understanding of civil construction practices (site prep, excavation, concrete, utilities, etc.)Proven ability to lead crews and manage jobsite operationsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong communication and organizational skillsCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipAbility to work in outdoor environments and physically demanding conditionsBo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is an E-Verify employer and all candidates must be willing to submit to any job related background check, fitness for duty, and drug screen that are required during the hiring process.
