Accounting Manager to join our Finance team in a dynamic, mission-driven healthcare environment.Due to growth, hybrid and challenging opportunity. Work with a dynamic Controller in a fast paced, established complex multi-entity start up environment.Never a dull moment here looking at an ERP conversion. Great for someone who enjoys figuring out why things are happening and fixing them. Lead and manage the month-end close process ensuring all journal entries, accruals, and financial statements are completed accurately and within established timelines. Oversee and review general ledger ensuring proper coding, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP and organizational policies. Perform and review complex account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, intercompany, and sub-ledger), ensuring discrepancies are identified, researched, and resolved promptly. Manage all aspects of payroll accounting including reconciliation of payroll reports to the general ledger, tracking of liabilities, and ensuring accuracy of wages, taxes, and benefit allocations. Administer and oversee employee garnishments ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, proper withholding, and accurate reporting. Partner with HR and Payroll teams to ensure alignment between payroll processing and financial reporting, including audits of payroll data and controls. Support internal and external audit, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries. Ensure compliance of fund accounting, grant reporting requirements, and healthcare-related financial regulations. Develop, document, and improve policies, procedures and internal controls to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or operational improvements. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management to build a high-performing team. Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 plus years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll accounting, and financial reporting. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Experience with fund accounting and/or healthcare or nonprofit environments a plus. Proficiency with accounting ERP systems, and payroll systems such as ADP or Paycom and advanced Excel skills.Salary range $135,000-$145,000#INMAY2026
