Job DescriptionThis is an unpaid internship. We are excited to offer a Data Scientist Analyst Internship for a talented and motivated individual who is passionate about leveraging data to drive insights and solutions. Our skills include Micro-fencing, mobile strategy, data analytics, and more.This Position Will EntailAssist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources for analysis and modeling purposes.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven models and algorithms to solve business problems and optimize processes.Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and apply statistical techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations in data sets.Develop and test predictive models using machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.Evaluate model performance, perform feature engineering, and iterate on models to improve accuracy and reliability.Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities to enhance your skills and contribute to project success.Learn and utilize data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).Other Duties as Assigned.Desired Skills QualificationsStrong programming skills and familiarity with data science libraries and tools (e.g., Python, R, Jupyter Notebooks, TensorFlow, PyTorch).Basic knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and machine learning concepts.Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Prior internship or coursework related to data science, machine learning, or analytics is a plus but not required.Experience solving real problems using data mining techniques and with statistical rigor.Required Education And Work ExperiencePursuing a Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of Computer languagesPreferred QualificationsMasters, Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, bioinformatics)Prior experience with standard ML models: Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machines, Neural Networks, and Hidden Markov ModelsExperience implementing a real-world Recommender or Ranking systemExperience working with Amazon Web ServicesImplemented multi-core/distributed software, preferably in a Linux environmentDigital Factory is an equal opportunity employer, committed to recruiting, hiring, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds, regardless of sex; race; color; creed; national origin; religion; age; marital status; pregnancy; physical, disability; sexual orientation; gender identity or any other basis protected by federal, state or local law.Human™ is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAPPLY FOR THE POSITION!
