Occupational Therapist

Position SummaryProvides medically prescribed clinical occupational therapy in patients' homes.Primary Position ResponsibilitiesFacilitate and Coordinate Occupational Therapy Care.Evaluates Progress Toward Attainment of Patient Outcomes.Documentation of Care.Employs Strategies to Promote a Safe Environment and Patient Health.Education of the Patient and Care Giver.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Education:Required:Bachelor's Degree in Occupational TherapyPreferred:Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational TherapyMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):Required:Two years of clinical experience in a hospital, out-patient, or rehab setting.Preferred:One year of Home Health experience.License, Registry or Certification:Required:Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of New Jersey.Valid driver's license.Current CPR certification. If not certified, must obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.Preferred:NoneKnowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:Required:Excellent communication, time management, judgment and decision making skills.Computer functionality knowledge.Knowledge and skill in current OT practicePreferred:Knowledge of home health care provision and principles.Hunterdon Health is committed to providing a competitive benefit package to our employees.
