Experience Equipment Operator needed at Big Rock – 2nd shift

PAY STRUCTURE – Can earn with 100% performance an hourly equivalent of $22.08 Here is how it works: Base Wage - $18.00 per hour Shift Differential - $1.00 Performance Bonus (at 100%): $3.08 per hour We offer a performance-based bonus which starts paying at 80% performance. For example, at 80% performance you earn .69 per hour more and at 100% it is $2.08 more. In addition, as an equipment operator there is another bonus premium so on top of the performance bonus at 80% you get an additional .50 and at 100% 1.00 per hour. Bonus potential max is an additional $5.16 per hour(at 129% and above). Duties and Responsibilities: Desire to work and be cross trained over multiple departments; Develop and maintain an appropriate level of understanding of distribution center operations; Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards, while ensuring that all work is performed with a consistent sense of efficiency and urgency; Work in compliance with all company, operations, systems, and safety related policies and procedures; Process customer orders in the distribution center by manually selecting the correct products for the customer orders using a RF device. Operate equipment including forklifts, reach trucks and various other equipment safely and efficiently Able to work in high spaces; Validate that the correct product has been selected and is defect and damage free; Able to meet or exceed minimum picking requirements; Report any defects or damages, resolve problems with manager assistance; Maintain an acceptable level of attendance; Perform housekeeping and other duties and responsibilities, as assigned. Qualifications: 18 years or older; Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening; High school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of related experience, training, and/or education; Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (limited heat or air conditioning) Minimum of one-year distribution center experience; Minimum of one-year experience with Cherry Order Picker and Reach Truck; One year of order picking with handheld and/or wrist RF scanner preferred; Experience with WDS or WMS preferred; Effective communication skills, including the ability to read and write legibly and to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; English language fluency preferred; Strong basic math skills and attention to detail; Ability to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays; Complete understanding of safety and risk management Hours: Monday – Friday 1:30pm to 10pm; Saturdays 12pm - 6pm (when Saturday OT is needed). OT during week available with 80% performance. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform work that involves standing, walking, and bending for a minimum of eight hours; Able to continuously lift to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
