HTI is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for a new lithium-ion battery separator giga factory in Denver, NC. This hands-on position will support the development, optimization, and stabilization of coating and film manufacturing processes. This is a Direct Hire, M-F 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM position with approximately 50 hours per week. The salary range is $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.*Candidates must be able to speak Mandarin and English*What They Offer:Direct-hire opportunity at a new, rapidly growing advanced manufacturing facility10 days of PTO plus 5 sick daysAnnual salary increasesOne month of free temporary housing for relocating candidatesEmployment sponsorship availableOpportunity to grow into a technical or management career pathWhat You Need:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field3+ years of manufacturing process engineering experienceProfessional Mandarin and English communication skillsExperience with coating, film, battery materials, chemical processing, or another continuous manufacturing processProcess troubleshooting, data analysis, validation, and continuous-improvement experienceAbility to work approximately 50 hours per week in a startup environmentWhat Your Role Will Look Like:The Process Engineer will work directly with production, quality, R&D, equipment, and maintenance teams to improve process capability, product quality, yield, efficiency, and equipment performance. This person must be comfortable working on the production floor and training operators.Develop and optimize coating and film process parameters, workflows, and operating standardsMonitor process stability, yield, defects, throughput, cycle time, and costTroubleshoot production, material, process, and equipment issues and lead root cause analysisSupport process validation, pilot trials, sampling, and new product introductionTransfer laboratory and R&D processes into mass productionSupport equipment installation, calibration, setup, and optimizationUse SPC, DOE, capability studies, Lean, Six Sigma, and corrective-action toolsDevelop SOPs, work instructions, technical reports, and process documentationTrain Process Technicians and production operators while supporting ISO, safety, and 5S requirementsAbout HTIHuman Technologies, Inc.
