We're hiring!Viewpoint School is currently seeking a Utility Worker. The Utility Worker provides hands on support with the Utility/Custodial Department. Assists with moving items, loading and unloading and with the set-up and breakdowns of events/meetings. Hours are from 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.Additional FunctionsAssist team members with event/meeting set ups and breakdownsAssist in moving tables, chairs, canopies, classroom/office furniture as neededConduct basic custodial work during down periods, such as but not limited to trash and recycling clean up, spot cleaning of exterior walkways, trash pick-up, etc.Provide general labor as needed/requestedAssist with loading and unloading stock itemsAssist in supply chain organizationParticipate in OSHA and “Right to Know” trainingLight maintenance such as but not limited to touch up painting, replacing ceiling tiles, changing out clocksOther tasks as assignedExperience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities RequiredDemonstrated experience in a customer service setting, with the ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with parents, faculty, staff and administrationMust have a valid driver’s licensePhysical Requirements And Work EnvironmentBe able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to frequently climb stairs, uneven terrain and hillside pathways. (Reasonable accommodations that do not cause an undue hardship on Viewpoint may be available)Ability to work outdoors under year-round climate.Position may require weekend and evening workKnowledge of safety practices and proceduresTime management skillsCompensation : $22 per hour
