About the role We're seeking a Design Engineer who is passionate about building a product that our users love. You'll work closely with the founder and users to design and implement new concepts and ideas. You'll own how the product looks and feels, from the design system through to the shipped interface, and be responsible for delivering the best value to our users. Your decisions will shape the product and its future. What you'll do Build and ship the interface our users live in, owning it from first sketch to production Lead design innovation, with a focus on how complex modeling work should look and feel Own the design system, our brand, and the marketing site, so everything we put out feels like one product Shape the product and its future, to lead the new era of predictive modeling Elevate the team, by bringing your own ideas and expertise to the table Partner with the founder, to build a product that our users love What we're looking for Experience designing and building customer-facing interfaces at a software company with a high engineering bar Strong frontend skills, with deep command of Typescript, React, and CSS Track record of owning a design system that other engineers built on An eye for motion, typography, and the details most people never notice Cares deeply about craft, and about knowing when something is done Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment High level of autonomy and ownership Thrives in a remote, asynchronous environment with a lean, high-output team Domain knowledge in predictive modeling and data science You'll love this if You want to own how a product looks and feels, and to build it yourself rather than hand it off.
