We are a well-established, academically oriented preschool with a focus on routines, consistency, and a child-centered, nature-inspired curriculum.Role OverviewThis is not a desk-only position. The Director is actively involved in daily operations, ensuring classrooms run smoothly, staff are supported, and expectations are consistently met.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations and classroom flowMonitor ratios, staffing, and coverageSupport teachers with supervision and problem-solvingEnsure compliance with licensing (Title 22)Communicate with families professionally and promptlyEnsure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on timeMaintain organization, cleanliness, and school standardsStep into classrooms as neededRequirementsDirector or Assistant Director experience in a licensed childcare center required3–5+ years in a preschool/childcare settingStrong understanding of operations, staffing, and licensingProven ability to manage staff and ensure follow-throughWhat We're Looking ForStrong initiative and attention to detailAbility to anticipate needs and take ownershipConfident, consistent leadership with staff and familiesHighly organized and reliableImportantThis role requires a high level of independence, initiative, and follow-through.
