Classroom Teacher Child Care Center

Job Summary: We are seeking a caring, dependable Classroom Teacher to support the daily learning and development of young children in a safe, nurturing environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, follows classroom routines, and works well as part of a team. This position focuses on hands-on care, supervision, and age-appropriate activities under the guidance of center leadership.Responsibilities:Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all timesAssist with daily classroom routines, including meals, naps, diapering, and toiletingImplement age-appropriate activities that support learning, social skills, and emotional developmentMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environmentCommunicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, and staffFollow all center policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety guidelinesObserve and report children's behaviors, needs, and milestones to the lead teacher or directorWork collaboratively with other teachers and staffQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredExperience working with children preferred (child care, babysitting, camps, schools, etc.)Ability to follow routines and classroom schedulesPatience, reliability, and a positive attitudeAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and engage in active playMust pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
