Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Detroit, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,659 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: Medical Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8s rotation Hours per Shift: 2:30 PM - 11 PM Experience: Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in this role or similar License: N/A Certifications: Certification from a recognized national certifying agency Must-Have: Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science Experience with laboratory instruments and information systems Ability to communicate effectively with others Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions Description: Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader, and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens. Involves manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed. Candidate will be working on the Chemistry side of the lab.
