GOCO Consulting has immediate openings for full and part-time canvassers to go door-to-door and speak with voters about the upcoming election! Areas include but not limited to: Las Vegas, NV and surrounding areas · Position $25/hr. · Be at least 18 years old. · Weekly pay every Thursday. · Fuel/ Mileage compensation @ 37 cents a mile while on the clock. · Excellent communication skills required, because you will be interacting with voters! · Must be able to follow procedures, track information, and have a professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance. · Dress code: Professional but still comfortable - Collared shirts (e.g. polo), no torn jeans, and comfortable walking shoes. · Must have access to own transportation. · Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions including hot and cold temperatures and rain!! This is an outdoors door-to-door job! · Canvassing experience is helpful, but not required. · Paid training. · Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). The interview process starts with a scheduled phone screening after you apply, then depending how that screening goes, an in-person interview is scheduled and we go from there. Details about the job itself and what to expect: An average working week is from Wednesday to Sunday 9:00am to 5:30pm with a half hour lunch at 1:00pm to 1:30pm. Monday and Tuesday are generally our 'off days' unless weather will impact the week. Cell phones and all materials needed to do the job are provided as well as paid training. Full-time (40 hours a week) workers are preferred, but we are more than happy to work out a flexible schedule that works around your availability if you need to be part time.
