Human Resources ManagerHUMAN RESOURCES GENERALISTMontgomery, ALSummary:The HR Generalist will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with management and employees to support business objectives. This position carries out responsibilities in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR policy implementation. Key Responsibilities:Administer day-to-day HR operations and provide support to employees and management Manage full-cycle recruiting: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure smooth onboarding process Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping processes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Support performance management processes and annual review cycles Investigate employee relations issues and provide guidance on resolution Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures Coordinate employee training and development initiatives Assist with workers' compensation claims and safety reporting Support employee engagement and retention initiatives Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) 3+ years of HR experience Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Preferred Certifications:SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP PHR or SPHR
