Salvage Parts Department Manager Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Department Manager to lead our established automotive business. This role is responsible for driving overall department performance with a focus on customer satisfaction, personnel management, sales growth, quality assurance, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive customer service and a proven ability to manage daily operations while supporting long-term business goals. Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Customer & Employee Relations: Ensure customer concerns are addressed quickly and fairly while supporting a positive work environment for staff. Production & Operations: Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory, online listings, and shipping activities while ensuring smooth technician workflows and organized parts storage. Financial Performance: Maintain profitability through cost control, regulatory compliance, and effective inventory management. Additional Responsibilities (as needed): Train and mentor staff to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. Assist the service department in assessing vehicles for parts needs. Hire and retain qualified personnel for departmental success.
