Facilities Manager

Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.OverviewThe Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the Regional Manager and the Account Director with the delivery of quality facility management services.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and direct the plant operations team; ensuring that the Maintenance, Financial, CMMS, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance programs are performed as efficiently as possible.Make decisions with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices.Maintain a working knowledge and ensures compliance with the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and any other relevant amendments or appendices which guide the relationship.Accountable for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend while ensuring adherence to established budgets.Track trends and recommend action plans regarding KPI/SLA below standard performance (MSA Driven) for Plant Operations/Engineering Services.Provide oversight/support in the delivery of maintenance, projects and vendor activities supporting critical operations and/or functions.Ensure staff is trained in approved practices and procedures related to proper facility maintenance techniques.Create a safe work environment for staff by ensuring adherence to all safety/infection control policies and procedures/practices.Accountable for ensuring that all building systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with applicable State/Federal/Local regulatory requirements.Determine the degree of compliance with applicable standards, as directed by management, specifically in the areas of NFPA101 Life Safety Code, Safety Management, Security Management, Hazardous Materials Management and Waste.Performs additional duties as requested.Qualifications5+ years of facility management, plant operations, engineering, or maintenance supervision experiencePreferred: College degree in a related engineering field, formal apprenticeship program or technical trade schoolRequirementsManagerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilitiesStrong organizational and management within matrixed organizations; oversight of both technical and administrative staffExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skillsProficient in MS Office and MS Share PointComputer proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systemsSupervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessaryPreferred RequirementsCHFM Certified Healthcare Facility Manager, CPMM Certified Plant Maintenance Manager, CFM Certified Facility Manager or other relevant certificationsShiftM-F, 8am-5pmWe thank all applicants for their interest.
