This role will focus on developing the FactoryOS application that connects production workflows, equipment telemetry, part tracking, quality traceability, and real-time manufacturing decision-making.This is a high-ownership engineering role for someone who wants to build software close to the physical world. We are currently hiring for Level 1 or 2.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop frontend interfaces used daily by factory operators, engineers, and production teamsDesign and implement backend services, data models, and APIs for FactoryOSIntegrate with factory equipment, sensors, and telemetry sources to give real-time visibility into production, part status, and quality dataPartner with manufacturing, operations, and automation teams to identify pain points and ship practical toolsHelp set technical patterns and engineering standards as an early member of the software teamMinimum Qualifications2+ years of professional experience building and shipping production web applicationsFrontend experience with TypeScript, React, and modern web development practicesBackend experience with C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, or similar frameworksExperience designing and working with relational databasesAbility to work independently in ambiguous environments and communicate clearly with non-software users, including operators and production teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Next.js, MUI, Hot Chocolate, GraphQL, or similar toolsExperience building internal tools, factory software, manufacturing systems, MES, ERP, WMS, QMS, or production tracking systemsExperience with telemetry, industrial data, IoT systems, embedded systems, or equipment integrationsExperience in manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, automation, hardware, defense, or other physical-world engineering environmentsExperience working at an early-stage startup or as an early engineering hireAdditional RequirementsMust be able to work onsite in El Segundo, CaliforniaMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as neededMust meet U.S. Person requirements due to ITAR-controlled workSummary Pay RangeLevel 1: $108,000 - 138,000Level 2: $126,000 - 154,000Benefits and PerksRangeview offers a competitive benefits package, including equity, unlimited PTO, medical, dental, and vision insurance.ComplianceRangeview is a DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant business.
