Shift: Sunday through Thursday 11 PM to 7 AM (with possible mandatory Fridays)Wage: $19.95 per hour (plus shift differential from 3 PM to 7 AM)Job Type: Full time, 90-day probationUnion: Teamsters Local 600, must join union after 30 daysDuties and ResponsibilitiesCleaning of various machines and equipment (freezers, tanks, fruit feeders, vats, pumps, lines and tubing, pasteurizer, homogenizer, and other related equipment)Cleaning of floors, drains, walls, ceiling, and exterior of equipment throughout the facilityCIP systems (Clean in Place process of piping using regulatory approved alkaline, chlorine, acid, and Quat based chemicals), floor scrubber, foamer, COP wash tanksFlavoring mix with fruit and flavor concentratesReceiving mix and operating pasteurizing system (HTST)Trash pickup and removalAny other job associated with sanitation (clean-up) at this facilityMust follow and adhere to LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out)Use proper equipment/utensils per allergen notationsKnowledge of sanitation chemical concentrationsEducation/ExperienceCandidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English fluently (for safety purposes)Highschool diploma or GED preferredIndustrial sanitation experience preferredFood manufacturing experience preferredQualifications/Physical RequirementsMust be able to start up and shut down all the production pasteurization equipmentMust be able to read and comprehend written instructions, technical manuals, and oral instructions related to the operation and cleaning of the production equipmentAbility to lift, push, pull product and equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds out of confined spaces and occasionally having to lift product or equipment overheadMust be able to pass a post offer drug screen, breath alcohol test, physical, and background checkPrairie Farms Dairy, Inc Company is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
