Systems Engineer (Onsite)Location: Manhattan, NY (Onsite – 5 days per week)Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support a fast-paced, business-critical environment. This role combines senior end-user support, systems administration, and infrastructure support, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and responsiveness. The ideal candidate has experience supporting financial or high-availability environments, is comfortable working fully onsite, and can operate independently while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced desktop and end-user support in a high-touch, onsite environmentAdminister and support Windows 11 and Windows Server (2016–2022) environmentsManage SCCM for software deployment, patching, and system monitoringSupport and administer Microsoft Azure services including Azure AD and virtual machinesManage Microsoft Intune for device and application management (MDM/MAM)Support Microsoft Exchange (Online and On-Premises), including mailbox and routing administrationAdminister SharePoint sites, permissions, and content organizationSupport and manage Apple devices using Apple Business ManagerAssist with Cisco infrastructure, including ISE (read-only), CUCM, and unified communications toolsSupport Citrix DaaS / Citrix Workspace environmentsAdminister and troubleshoot email and endpoint security tools (e.g., Proofpoint, CrowdStrike)Provide support for video conferencing and collaboration systemsSupport business-critical and industry-specific applications (e.g., market data and trading platforms)Manage asset inventory, hardware lifecycle tracking, and documentationUse monitoring and asset tools such as Grafana and LansweeperUtilize Jira and Confluence for ticketing, documentation, and knowledge sharingSupport VPN and secure remote-access solutionsDeliver responsive, professional support to executives and high-priority usersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in desktop support, systems administration, or similar rolesStrong Windows, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management experienceHands-on experience with SCCM, Intune, Exchange, and AzureFamiliarity with Citrix, Cisco voice/communication systems, and endpoint security toolsExperience supporting high-availability or regulated environments is strongly preferredExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skillsComfortable working fully onsite in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Details12-month contract with potential permanent hire in 2027Fully onsite, Monday–FridayExposure to complex, enterprise-scale technology environmentsOpportunity to work closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teamsEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
