Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of the Best Managed Companies in North America.Required immediately, our LOCAL Boise, ID BRANCH is seeking a Full-time CNC PROGRAMMER, SOLID SURFACEDesired Skills & Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent combined with shop theory1-2 years of experience in AutoCAD and ProgrammingExperience using Alphacam or Slab Smith considered an asset, if not familiar with our industry we will train the right person who has experience in AutoCADExperience estimating blue print with good mathematical skills, understanding of measurements, fractions etc. 1-2 years customer service experience with experience in similar industry considered an assetIntermediate computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products and ability to learn other software programsHave the ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respectEffective written/verbal communication skillsMust be able to sit long periods of time and lift 35lbs frequently and seldom 50lbsDuties and Responsibilities:Interpret drawings and specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingAnalyzes and creates calculations for programming including sequence of operations in a program, where materials should be cut, cutting tools that will be needed, speeds and cutting tools for programs using AutoCADDevelops programs by creating instructions for CNC OperatorsChecks completed programs by running simulations or testsSimplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivityWrites programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiencyEvaluates all completed designs to validate their functionsOther duties as assignedFLOFORM is proud to offer the successful candidate: Competitive wage- starting $28/hr plus D.O.E.
