Food & Fountain Trainer

Position Mission Statement To create quality time with each Food Service Team Member. Position in Organization 1.) Reports directly to Dale Taylor, Corporate Trainer and is part of the Human Resources Department. 2.) Supports Delis, Fountains, and Churchs, & Krystal's within Lexington, Durant, Greenwood, Rising Sun, Itta Bena, Tutwiler, Clarksdale, Shelby, Cleveland, Moorhead, Jackson, Ruleville, & Grenada. Summary of Responsibilities Directly manages training and development of food service employees while coaching/training at a particular store or in a classroom setting. Food & Fountain Trainers are to communicate the information, needs, changes, policies, procedures, and results to management on duty, Area Managers, and Operations. The Food & Fountain Trainer is responsible for upholding our policies and procedures at all times. Specific Responsibilities Deli Certification Program & In-Store Training Communicate, coach, train, the highest levels of execution for all team members Teach and follow all product procedures according to written procedures and good food handling practices Adhere to approved holding times and temperatures as policy of Double Quick, State and Local health regulations. Use "less more often'' procedure for food preparation Properly project food preparation by use of cook logs, Quick Servant, and perfect food cost reports Maintain adequate stock in food preparation areas as well as stock rotation Follow portion controls Keeps waste to a minimum through proper production Tracks all waste and discards to assure accuracy and accountability Monitors inventory levels for stock ordering, works with managers on par level ordering system Maintains proper care of equipment and utensils Checks equipment to ensure proper operation, cook times, and temperatures Always checks the cooler and freezer for proper food handling procedures, rotation, dates, storage to ensure there is no product abuse either before or after it reaches the stores Follows all safety and security procedures Corrects customer complaints immediately while at the store and communicates the corrective action needed to Manager & Area Manager. Knows all menu items and pricing Uses and teaches suggestive selling to increase sales Knows the proper operation of the cash registers Is courteous to customers, coworkers and other employees Confirm that daily cleaning list is being followed at each store CREATE QUALITY TIME WITH EACH FOOD SERVICE TEAM MEMBER Pathways to Excellence Installation Assist in installing Pathways to Excellence Training Module to all of our Double Quick Stores. Be proficient with Pathways to Excellence Software to assist with the Training of all employees. Fountain Reviews Assist in creating an organized Fountain Review for every Fountain. Create a routine schedule for Fountain Reviews to train Managers, Assistant Managers, and all Team Members on all fountain service and cleaning procedures. Chemical Compliance Facilitate adding a Proctor & Gamble Chemical Program for all of our stores. Train all team members on the proper policies and procedures for all chemical usage. Servsafe Teaching Become a certified Instructor and Proctor within the Servsafe Organization Assist in teaching Servsafe with other Senior Management. Reporting Maximize PDI Reporting in an efficient/effective way on a weekly, monthly, & yearly basis. Churchs/Krystal Certification Become fully certified in all Churchs & Krystal Training Programs. Assist with Training Churchs & Krystal Team Members in correlation with Pathways to Excellence. Food Service Programs at Non-Deli Stores Assist in a weekly review with Store 61s Food Program Be prepared to grow the Non-Deli Food Program to other Stores within the company All Other Duties as Assigned Handle special projects as directed by Human Resource or Operations.
