Duties
Assist in supervising and engaging children during daily activities across multiple classrooms, including infant, toddler, preschool, and special needs settings
Support teachers with classroom management, behavior guidance, and developmental activities tailored to each age group
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment by following health and safety protocols at all times
Provide attentive care during meal times, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure children’s comfort and well-being
Step into different roles as needed — from supervising small groups to assisting with educational activities or diapering routines
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative caregiving environment
Follow all licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare standards and documentation
Skills
Demonstrated experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings
Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities for infants through preschoolers
Ability to implement behavior management strategies with patience and positivity
First aid certification and experience with emergency response procedures are highly valued
Strong classroom management skills to support smooth daily routines and transitions
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively
