GENERAL SUMMARY:
As a Seats Technician you will be responsible for refurbishing interior components for a variety of aircraft. You will work with a team of experienced professionals to ensure that every detail is perfect, from the stitching to the finishing touches.
PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES:
Performs basic stripping operations of fabric from aircraft surfaces to prepare for remodeling and recovering
Work with leather and fabrics to refurbish aircraft seating to high quality levels
Patterns, cuts, sews, cements, and trims upholstery fabrics for drapery, divans, chairs, headliners, side panels, containers, and engine and propeller covers
Perform routing and complex sewing operations
Documents all work accomplished in a clear, concise, and accurate manner
Works with the team in order to complete established goals
Top candidates will possess:
High school diploma or GED
3+ years related sewing and pattern-making experience
Ability to communicate well
High level attention to detail
Excellent workmanship
Willingness to work on and as part of a team
Other requirements include:
Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces and in noisy environments
Ability to occasionally travel for work assignments
Ability to maintain a tool inventory in alignment with shop requirements
Ability to obtain and retain an airport AOA badge
Ability to work overtime and various shifts as business needs require

The base hourly range for this role is $20.00 to $40.00 per hour. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of experience levels. Specific compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to; minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience and location.
