They operate at the intersection of AI systems and real-world production environments, with a small, highly technical team that moves quickly and ships constantly.The culture is deeply builder-oriented low ego, high ownership, and focused on solving real problems at scale.About the RoleThis is a backend / full-stack engineering role with a strong infrastructure tilt. You will be building core product systems while also owning the underlying infrastructure that enables speed, reliability, and scale.This is not an SRE or platform-only role. You will write production code daily across backend services and infra, working end to end on systems that directly power the product.What You’ll DoBuild and own backend systems that power AI-driven productsWrite production-level code across backend services and infrastructureDesign scalable systems that support rapid experimentation and deploymentImprove developer velocity by removing bottlenecks across the stackWork closely with engineers to ship quickly and iterate in productionWhat We’re Looking ForStrong backend or full-stack engineering experience with a focus on building real systemsExperience working with TypeScript, Node.js, and modern backend frameworks (e.g. Express)Experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS, Terraform, Docker, and ECS or KubernetesExperience building or supporting distributed systems or platform-level infrastructureExperience working with LLMs or agents in production environmentsBuilding systems that integrate code generation or reasoning modelsProven track record of building from scratch in fast-paced startup environmentsCompensation$200K–$300K base + meaningful equity + full benefitsAbout Code Red PartnersAt Code Red Partners, we’re deeply committed to working with equal-opportunity employers and helping to build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
