Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Licensed Agent role based in Effingham, IL, with the flexibility to work both in-office and from home. The Licensed Agent will work closely with clients to provide customized insurance solutions, explain benefit options, and assist with employee claims and enrollments. Responsibilities include client consultations, managing benefits enrollments using Colonial Life’s advanced technology, and building ongoing relationships through excellent customer service. The Licensed Agent will play a pivotal role in promoting financial products tailored to meet client needs and ensuring a positive client experience. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in client relationship management, customer service, and team collaborationExperience in sales, needs analysis, and matching clients with appropriate financial or insurance solutionsProficiency in using technology and digital platforms for enrollment and client communicationA strong understanding of insurance products, focused on workplace benefits like disability, life, and health-related coveragesActive state-issued Life and Health Insurance License (or willingness and ability to obtain one through company assistance)Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work a hybrid schedule, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities effectivelyPrevious experience in the insurance or financial industry is a plus
