Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.Position is located out of Houston, Texas District Office.Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstand design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler SystemsHydraulic CalculationsField SurveyingUnderstand listing of system piping for fabricationCoordination for installation between tradesManaging cost and understanding budgetsJob RequirementsNICET certification preferred but not requiredGeneral mechanical knowledgeExperience in Fire Protection Installation or DesignPreferred Qualifications* Must work in an efficient manner* Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with Company guideline.Supervisory Responsibilities* Oversee installation labor on assigned projectsT ravel* This position requires approximately 50% local travel.Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
