Tooling Technician

Tooling TechnicianThe Tooling Technician will be responsible for the manufacturing and finishing of our production and prototype thermoforming tooling and parts. The essential duties are as follows but are not limited to:Building and finishing/polishing of production and prototype tooling and parts by hand and using tools; examination of all surface areas during finishing process.Performing service and periodic maintenance on vacuum forming toolsAssisting in tool changesAssisting in shop maintenance tasks as necessaryWhat You'll Bring3-5 years' experience in Tooling industry (benchwork, tool finishing/polishing), strongly preferredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentWhat We ValueTool & Die maintenance experience strongly preferredCarpentry experienceExceptional attention to detailComfortable with repetitive tasksAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be proactive and show initiative in taking on and completing projectsOtherFrequently sits and stands extended periods of timeFrequently reach, bend, pull, and lift up to 50 lbsFrequently uses small hand toolsEqual Opportunity Employer.
