Electrical Engineer Electrical Engineer - PCB Design We're a rapidly growing startup that is looking for an Electrical Engineer with strong PCB design experience with Altium. You'll be a part of a small R&D team that is working on new medical products from concept through manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Develop and review electronic schematics and PCB/PCBA designs using Altium. Create and optimize analog and digital circuit designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability. Perform prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation testing; characterize circuits and resolve hardware issues. Define and implement fabrication-ready PCB layouts, DFM/DFT guidelines, and BOM management for volume assembly. Develop and maintain clear design documentation, schematics, layout notes, and test procedures. Work with suppliers and fabrication partners to qualify components, PCBs, and assemblies; coordinate design for fabrication and assembly. Run signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI analyses and implement mitigation strategies. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and cross-functional project planning to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and best practices. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 3+ years of professional experience in electronic hardware design, including schematic capture and PCB/PCBA design. Strong experience with Altium. Proven background in analog circuit design (power management, sensors, amplifiers) and/or digital circuit design (microcontrollers, peripherals, interfaces).
