Working 1:1 with children diagnosed with autism and developmental disabilities, BTs/RBTs use the evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help each child reach meaningful milestones.You’ll collaborate closely with a supportive team of BCBAs, clinical leaders, and fellow techs in a center-based setting, where the focus is on progress, compassion, and connection.How Will You Contribute?As a Behavior Technician at UABL, your impact will be felt every single day. You will:Work directly with clients to implement individualized treatment plansTeach communication, social, play, and self-help skillsReduce challenging behaviors using proactive strategiesCelebrate small wins that build toward lifelong independenceDocument sessions and collect data to track progressAct as a positive role model and build trusting relationships with the children you serveThis is not a babysitting or caregiving job—this is an opportunity to build confidence, foster meaningful skills, and change lives.What We’re Looking ForWe welcome applicants at all experience levels—whether you're just starting out or already RBT-certified. We offer full training, hands-on mentorship, and clear career advancement pathways.Required:High school diploma or equivalentReliable transportationConsistent and dependable attendanceAbility to pass a background check, MVR check (if driving is required), and registry check)Experience in ABA, special education, child development, or a related field (1 year preferred)Preferred:Completion of a BACB-approved 40-hour RBT coursePhysical RequirementsThis is a physically active job.
