This high-profile leadership role will focus on strategic growth in the Food & Beverage sector, with an emphasis on tax services for multi-unit operators, manufacturers, and distributors.As a Senior Manager, you will serve as both a strategic and tactical leader, responsible for developing a high-performing tax team, executing market strategy, and integrating efforts with our national Industrial & Consumer Products (ICP) team. You’ll collaborate with local office and industry leadership to ensure market penetration and visibility of our full suite of tax services.This is a leadership-first role, requiring a dynamic professional with deep tax expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving results in the Food & Beverage space.Withum’s brand reflects our people, our culture and our strength. But our commitment goes beyond our clients as we continue to live the Withum Way, promoting personal and professional growth for all team members, clients, and surrounding communities. How You’ll Spend Your Time:Driving growth in client base and key industry relationships through market-facing activitiesIdentifying and pursuing strategic tax planning and compliance opportunities for businesses, while overseeing high quality delivery in alignment with national standardsProviding thought leadership and market insights to internal and external stakeholdersMaintaining deep awareness of client tax needs, challenges, and opportunitiesContributing to national Food & Beverage strategy sessions and marketing initiatives, and represent the Firm at key events, sponsorships and affiliationsThe Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of the Following:CPA, JD, LLM, or MST required; MBA preferredBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field8+ years in professional services, with 5+ years in Food & Beverage taxExperience with multi-unit operations strongly preferredStrong technical tax knowledge and strategic planning capabilitiesPrior experience at a Top 50 CPA firm is a plusExcellent communication, project management, and leadership skillsDemonstrated success in formal sales process deployment and team leadershipHigh emotional intelligence (EQ) and intellectual agility (IQ)The compensation in New York City for this position ranges from $150,000 - $225,000. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
