Role Description We are seeking a sophisticated, driven, and aesthetically-minded Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between our curated portfolio of fine artists and the professional interior designer community. This is not just a sales position; it is a relationship-driven role that requires an understanding of the luxury design industry. The position involves calling on and visiting interior designers, architects and consultants to provide tailored art solutions for their needs. Daily responsibilities include generating leads, conducting consultations, educating clients about artwork and artists, visiting local firms / companies, and managing sales transactions. No fine art experience required. Minimum of two years experience selling to interior designers in Houston. Qualifications Sales and Client Management: Strong experience in sales, client development, and relationship building, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Design Expertise: Knowledge of interior design (residential, commercial, and/or hospitality)Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in making presentations and engaging with diverse clients.Organization and Time Management: Exceptional ability to manage multiple appointments, meet deadlines, and coordinate between clients and gallery operations efficiently.Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and solve challenges creatively.Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.Art Industry Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for fine art, decor, and design.
