Listed below are some of the responsibilities you will have.Conducts injury and vehicle incident reviews to determine root cause and necessary corrective action required to eliminate future incidents.Provides guidance and direction for division employees and contractors to encourage workplace safety.Observes safety practices and conditions in field locations and recommends corrections or additional precautions to help protect employees from potentially unsafe work methods and to ensure compliance.Assists in the development of and conducts safety training programs. Demonstrates the use of safety equipment and facilitates numerous tests; i.e. respirator fit, hearing loss, forklift and excavation.Participates in monthly safety team meetings and provides leadership training to safety team leaders to improve the effectiveness of the company's occupational safety and health efforts.Maintains accurate safety related records for reporting purposes.
