Bartender

Job Title: Bartender Location: 3171 Nealy Way Longview, TX 75605 Job Type: Part-Time Reports To: Manager on Duty Job Summary: We are looking for an energetic and skilled Bartender to join our team at Cargo. As a Bartender, you will craft and serve beverages while providing an exceptional guest experience. You should have a strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, along with excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations. Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and follow all alcohol service regulations. Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware. Monitor bar patrons and ensure responsible alcohol service. Assist with inventory management and report low-stock items to management. Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Requirements: Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred. Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, beer, and wine. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (such as kegs or cases of liquor). Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Bartending certification or training is a plus.
