Hiring: Principal Business Process Project Management Specialist – Medical DeviceLocation: Fridley, MN (4 days onsite mandatory)Type: W2 ContractDuration: 6+ MonthsAbout the Role:We are seeking a Principal PMO / Project Management Specialist to lead manufacturing technology programs focused on automation, machine vision, and computer vision platforms within a medical device environment. This role will drive cross-functional execution, project governance, risk management, and operational PMO activities across multiple concurrent initiatives.Key Responsibilities• Lead multiple cross-functional manufacturing technology programs • Manage project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and execution • Build and maintain detailed project plans using tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence • Drive stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and portfolio visibility • Coordinate engineering, operations, and clinical teams in a matrixed environment • Support PMO process improvements and best practices Top Skills Required✔ Program / Project Management (PMO Environment)✔ Manufacturing Engineering & Technology Platforms✔ Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management✔ Risk Management & Executive Reporting✔ Project Planning Tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps)Nice to Have• Medical Device / Regulated Industry experience • Automation, Machine Vision, or Computer Vision exposure • PMP Certification • Portfolio reporting & dashboard experience Experience Required• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering project/program management experience • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
