The Bioanalytical QA Technician role is a Contract opportunity with a client located in Abbott Park IL 60064-Onsite. Job Title: Bioanalytical QA TechnicianLocation: Abbott Park IL 60064 Pay Rate: $35/hr. on w2 Without Benefits (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Contract: 6+ Months Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Bioanalytical QA Technician to support quality assurance testing in a fast-paced laboratory environment. This role is responsible for performing bioanalytical testing, maintaining compliance with quality systems, supporting CAPA investigations, and ensuring adherence to GMP and GLP standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory testing experience and strong knowledge of bioanalytical techniques used in healthcare, diagnostics, or biotechnology industries.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform bioanalytical quality testing and review data for compliance with product specifications Utilize laboratory systems such as STARLIMS and SAP for documentation and tracking Conduct testing using techniques including: HPLC SDS-PAGE Western Blot Dot Blot ELISA Mass Spectrometry (MS) Microtiter plate methods Support CAPA investigations involving out-of-specification or out-of-tolerance results Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, records, and sample inventory Assist with product and process improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, quality systems, and laboratory safety procedures Support manufacturing and testing operations as required Participate in audits, validations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for certified testing methods Communicate effectively with laboratory teams, quality professionals, and management Maintain organized sample and file storage systems Support lab scheduling and daily operational activities with minimal supervision QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline 3–4 years of experience in laboratory quality assurance or quality control within healthcare, diagnostics, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries Strong hands-on experience with bioanalytical testing techniques Knowledge of diagnostic product testing, stability testing, validations, and compliance standards Experience with CAPA investigations, audits, and quality systems Familiarity with STARLIMS, SAP, and basic computer applications Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills Preferred SkillsExperience in high-volume laboratory environments Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills If you feel this is not something that you are currently interested in, but know of someone, that might be, please share the details with them or let me know their details so I can reach out to them!
