CORE is looking for a results-oriented PreConstruction Manager with experience in construction planning, estimating and project management to join our Schererville, IN team. This fast-paced department aims to provide professional preconstruction and virtual construction services for large-scale Commercial, K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare and Municipal projects.The PreConstruction Manager will provide comprehensive preconstruction services, including estimating, scheduling, value engineering, risk management, bid solicitation and subcontractor outreach/procurement on multiple large-scale commercial construction projects. This will involve collaboration with owners, architects, preconstruction team members and the Operations team. This individual will research market conditions, historical cost data, price building materials and labor, work on material quantifications and scopes, bid solicitations and schedule planning. He/she will also be expected to provide a detailed review of design plans and specifications on projects for a wide range of institutional clients.Please note, we do not have any immediate openings at this time, but we are acceptting resumes for any openings in the future.Minimum of two years of experience as part of a preconstruction or construction operations teamProfessional degree in construction management or a related field (mechanical or civil engineering, construction technology, architecture, business administration)Strong communications skills, both written and verbalTechnology: Proficiency with Assemble, OST, CAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Microsoft ProjectPreferred Experience with Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam and Procore, Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methodsWillingness to relocate to or near Schererville, IN. Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client serviceExpectations: Attention to detail, excellent communication (written and verbal), strong organizational skills, ability to interact as part of a teamA valid Driver’s LicenseThis is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and employee is not eligible for overtime compensation.
