Once Again is recognized for responsible business practices through partnerships with SedEx, HowGood, and its Honest in Trade sustainability program.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Technician role based in Nunda, NY. The Quality Assurance Technician will perform routine quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards, SQF requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include sampling and testing products, documenting and reviewing results, identifying nonconformances, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. The role will also assist with equipment calibration, verification of sanitation and allergen control procedures, and maintenance of quality records and documentation. The technician will collaborate closely with production, sanitation, and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement and consistent product quality.Qualifications Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, with experience inspecting and testing food or consumer products.Ability to support Quality Management activities, including documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.Solid Analytical Skills to interpret test results, identify trends, and recommend data-driven corrective actions.Experience with Calibration of measurement and testing equipment or the ability and willingness to learn calibration procedures.High attention to detail, accuracy in recordkeeping, and commitment to food safety and regulatory compliance.Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and following safety protocols.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in production and quality.High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in food science, quality, or a related field is a plus.Previous experience in food manufacturing, SQF/GFSI environments, or HACCP programs is preferred but not required.
