This individual will support the design, development, testing, optimization, and launch of hoisting systems and components used in suspended access and lifting equipment. The role has full ownership across the product lifecycle, including innovation, performance, manufacturability, customer experience, and cost improvement._________________________________________________________________________________________________________Product Design & DevelopmentLead mechanical design, development, testing, and launch of electromechanical systems, assemblies, and componentsTranslate customer, internal, and regulatory requirements into robust, manufacturable designsPerform engineering analyses including stress, fatigue, deflection, and load calculationsOwn New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, including design reviews, prototyping, testing, and launch readinessProduct Optimization & ImprovementImprove existing products using customer feedback, field data, warranty trends, and manufacturing inputEnhance reliability, usability, safety, and overall product performanceIdentify cost‐reduction opportunities through design simplification, material changes, and process improvementsCross‐Functional CollaborationPartner with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and suppliers to improve manufacturability and reduce lifecycle costsSupport root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing, assembly, and field issuesEnsure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsDocumentation & SupportPrepare and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manualsProvide field engineering support as needed (approximately 10%)Contribute to proposals and product requirements
