General Manager - Restaurant

General Manager – Moena Café (Breakfast & Lunch) Location: South Jordan, UT (Daybreak) We are a well-established, locally loved café serving breakfast and lunch, and we’re looking for an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, develop our team, and continue delivering an outstanding guest experience. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced café environment, understands food service operations end-to-end, and takes pride in running a smooth, profitable business. Key Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day café operations Lead, train, schedule, and develop front- and back-of-house staff Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally Manage labor, food costs, inventory, and ordering Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety Enforce health department, food safety, and company policies Collaborate with ownership on performance goals, systems, and improvements Monitor sales, control expenses, and drive profitability Qualifications 3+ years of restaurant or café management experience (GM or Assistant GM preferred) Strong leadership and team-building skills Proven experience with scheduling, labor control, and inventory management Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Calm under pressure, organized, and solution-oriented Breakfast/lunch or café experience is a strong plus What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) plus medical benefits Consistent daytime hours (no late nights) A stable, well-established business with a loyal customer base Supportive ownership and opportunity to make a real impact How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief summary of your management experience to nicole@moenacafe.com.
