Primarily responsible for processing new indirect loan documents and membership applications received through our indirect dealer network; prepare and process appropriate file documentation in adherence to credit union policies, procedures, regulations, and underwriter stipulations; follow up with dealers, underwriters, or members to obtain necessary paperwork; track all documentation; and note errors for tracking purposes. In addition, this position will report any error trends to management and will assist with dealer oversight as needed.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesReviews incoming contract packets to confirm all necessary documentation is received and is properly completed. Updates system applications to reflect contents within dealer documents. Funds loans accurately and processes necessary file maintenance after quality control checks are satisfactorily completed.Responds to internal and dealer communication in a timely manner. Consistently follows up with underwriters and dealers regarding funding barriers. Conducts all communication (written, verbal, and face-to-face) with all persons (members, teammates, staff, and vendors) in a clear, kind, collaborative, and constructive manner.Rectifies relevant general ledgers to ensure dealerships are properly paid and internal accounts balance.Maintains service levels for all funding turn-times as set forth by management.Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.Knowledge and SkillsExperienceA minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.Education/Certifications/LicensesA high school degree or equivalentInterpersonal SkillsCourtesy and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring. Communications generally require shorter and not in-depth discussions.FULL TIME POSITIONStarting Range: $17.88 - $20.03Full Range: $17.23 - $25.85ADA RequirementsPhysical RequirementsIs able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.Working ConditionsMust be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.Mental and/or Emotional RequirementsMust be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team.
