This role oversees daily operations, including service delivery, installation schedules, and coordination between HVAC, electrical, and support teams to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction. The General Manager is responsible for managing staff, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and creating a safe, inclusive workplace culture. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, managing budgets, setting targets, and implementing operational improvements to drive efficiency and growth. The role also involves building customer relationships, resolving escalated issues, supporting sales and marketing efforts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.Qualifications Operational leadership skills, including team management, process improvement, and performance monitoring.Experience with HVAC, electrical, or related home services operations, with the ability to understand technical service workflows.Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue and cost analysis.Customer service and relationship management skills to handle escalations and maintain long-term client trust.Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with business software tools (e.g., CRM systems, scheduling platforms, spreadsheets, and office productivity applications).Experience developing and implementing safety and compliance practices aligned with industry regulations.Ability to make data-informed decisions and adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.Relevant experience in management or operations leadership; prior general management experience in trades or service industries is preferred.Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent experience.
