Details Work in an acute care hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Patient ratio is 1:5-6 Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating to similar units within scope may be required Level III Trauma environment Uses Epic EMR system Royal blue scrubs required Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required before start At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS certification preferred Tele competency required Previous charge and/or community hospital experience preferred Experience with Epic documentation preferred Social Security Number and driver’s license required for consideration Additional Information Must complete pre-start online modules averaging 4 hours First-time travelers are accepted Previous permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible You may only be considered for one position within this system at a time Return time off (RTO) must be submitted up front; approval is based on facility needs During hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a local pay rate American Traveler Job ID P-673342.
