Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Middle School Special Education (SPED) Teacher located in El Dorado, AR. The SPED Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering engaging lessons, and adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs. The role also involves close collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents to support academic and socio-emotional growth. Additional responsibilities include tracking student progress, participating in IEP meetings, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success. Qualifications Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum DevelopmentExperience with Teaching and working with Middle School studentsStrong Communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and staffKnowledge of Special Education best practices and familiarity with developing and implementing IEPsState certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain certification)Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needsPatience, empathy, and a commitment to student success
