Youth Athletic Training
Job Summary
The Youth Athletic Class Training position is designed for individuals passionate about promoting health and fitness among young athletes. This role involves developing and implementing training programs that enhance athletic performance while ensuring the safety and well-being of participants. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and nutrition, along with experience in health coaching and sports medicine.
Responsibilities
Design and implement individualized training programs tailored to the specific needs of young athletes.
Conduct assessments to evaluate physical fitness levels and track progress over time.
Educate athletes on proper body mechanics, nutrition, and injury prevention strategies.
Provide guidance on health coaching, fostering a positive mindset towards fitness and wellness.
Collaborate with parents, coaches, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to athlete development.
Stay updated on the latest research in sports medicine and athletic training techniques.
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, assessments, and athlete progress.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to athletic performance.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to sports medicine.
Experience in personal training or coaching youth athletes is preferred.
Understanding of nutrition principles and their application in sports training.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with young athletes and their families.
Ability to create a motivating environment that encourages youth engagement in physical activity.
