Nurse Consultant

PSL Services is currently looking to fill the part-time/per diem position of (R.N.) Nurse Consultant for our Mental Health Services Programs. We place strong emphasis on fostering and mentoring a safe, rehabilitative and supportive living environment for our consumer residents living with mental illness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Provide a regular and thorough review of all resident care plans involving client charts, comprehensive assessments, Individual Service Plans, MARs and all other relevant medical documentation and interventions. Provide training, supervision and documentation of medication administration practice regarding the completion of the CRMA training certification program for staff completing the full course requirements. Provide consultative services to the agency regarding the various medical and health needs and concerns of our consumers. Provide periodic supplemental trainings to our MHRT-1 staff regarding relevant medical issues, current social health concerns, pro-active approaches to prevention, dietary topics, etc. This position is a part-time (per diem based) consultative position with flexible hours, flexible days and open schedule. A full and current R.N. or L.P.N. license is required. Experience working with the adult mental health population would be beneficial. PSL Services/STRIVE is an equal opportunity employer.
