The role of “Compliance Developer” will provide programming support to staff to assist with complying with all state and federal regulations, while identifying and mitigating risks related to our client’s assets. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.These Regulations IncludePHMSA 49 CFR 191, 192, 193, 194, and 195 OHSA State Regulatory Requirements Process Safety ManagementRoles And ResponsibilitiesTypical responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutionsDesign client-side and server-side architectureBuild the front-end of applications through appealing visual designDevelop and manage well-functioning databases and applicationsWrite effective APIsTest software to ensure responsiveness and efficiencyTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade softwareCreate security and data protection settingsBuild features and applications with a mobile responsive designWrite technical documentationWork with data scientists and analysts to improve softwareEducationHigh School Diploma requiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Statistics or related field desiredRequired ExperienceExperience with building databases in Access, SQL, etc.In-depth understanding of data management (security, performance, etc.)Understand and use normalization methods and design methodologiesExperience designing stable, reliable, and scalable new SQL Server OLTP and OLAP databases as well as modifying existing databasesProficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, python, JavaScript, HTMLPreferred ExperienceSQL Server Management Studio experienceModerately complex SQL requiredAbility to understand front-end user's requirements and a customer service focused attitude is a mustExperience with Write utilities/automation tools using , Java, Python, and moreExperience or technical knowledge and working familiarity with relevant U.S. pipeline safety regulations, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
